Meetings in Nuremberg

Meetings in Nuremberg

Characterised by medieval architecture such as the fortress walls and towers of the old town, this is Nuremberg. The city is located in the north of the state of Bavaria and is known for its history, but also for being the location of large companies.

Old Town Nuremberg

Nuremberg and its old town are characterised by historical buildings that should definitely be visited during a stay. For example, Nuremberg's landmark, the Kaiserburg. But also the large churches such as St. Sebald, St. Lorenz or the Frauenkirche. Besides that, many museums are also part of the cityscape. The best-known museums include the Toy Museum, the Hat Museum, the Amber Museum and the Albrecht Dürer House. Albrecht Dürer, the nationally famous graphic artist and painter, lived in the house until the end and worked on his works.

Nuremberg Imperial Castle - Nuremberg's landmark

Probably the most famous sight in the city and hard to miss. The castle is one of the city's most important art and architectural monuments. It is also one of the most important architectural fortifications in Europe. In its time, the castle served as a fortress, imperial residence, imperial castle and also as a burgrave's seat. Today it is a sight to behold and forms a beautiful finale to the Historic Mile in Nuremberg. The castle was painstakingly rebuilt after the air raids in the Second World War and can now be walked around almost everywhere.

Hauptmarkt and Frauenkirche - meeting place for coffee and guided tours

In the middle of the city of Nuremberg lie the famous Hauptmarkt and the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) directly adjacent to it. The Hauptmarkt is the heart of the city and is characterised by surrounding cafés, restaurants, boutiques and, of course, bars. During the week, various weekly markets take place on the square and in winter the famous Christmas market. Directly on the square you will find another highlight; namely the Frauenkirche. The Frauenkirche dates back to the 13th century and is in very good condition. The many sculptures inside are also in very good condition. From our side a good tip and only to recommend.
